Trytone Sound Equipment Breakdown
Trytone Sound has several audio packages made to fit your production requirements. We can provide sound for both union and non-union productions, from large budgets to television and all the way down to small indie and student productions. Below is an explanation of each package and what level of production it is suited for.
Cart Systems
Large productions with specific needs will usually utilize a cart system. Trytone Sound offers a mixer and follow cart as well as a playback cart with speaker. These carts can be used for commercial, narrative, and musical applications. The mixer cart can handle all tiers and majors contracts as well as the commercial market. The playback cart has been used on music videos and many feature films with musical numbers.
Bag Rigs
For smaller, more mobile sound with an invisible footprint, productions use the bag rigs. We offer three tiers of bag rigs for productions ranging from union commercials and EPK's down to student films. These rigs feature timecode, lectrosonic reliability, monitors for the director and a portable power source. They are more streamlined, and if neccessary, can be operated by an army of one.
Mixer Cart
This is the flagship of Trytone Sound mixing, built for maximum mobility and rugged conditions. This cart comes with 16 tracks, 8 wireless channels, 12 input channels, full antenna systems for long range, HD video monitoring for accurate mixing and booming, and full wireless audio monitoring for crew and client. This cart is usually accompanied by the all-terrain follow cart and tent system. The follow cart carries all of the necessary gear that the mixer cart cannot carry and the tent allows for rain and cold conditions. This system allows for any shooting conditions, and uninterrupted service, regardless of power, for up to 12 hours. The mixer cart is typically used for union jobs, big budget productions or any shoot where transportation via truck system is used.

Playback Cart
This cart is used for any production that requires audio playback. This includes musicals and music videos, as well as mood music for specific scenes or dance routines. This playback cart comes fully equipped to broadcast 1000 watts of high fidelity audio and is also wired for an additional speaker and subwoofer for larger productions. The mixer can edit music on the fly with Protools software and the cart also features HD video monitoring for accurate cues. A God mic with Lectrosonic 400 transmitter is also included to give the director reliable and crisp audio for cues.
Alpha Rig
This is a fully functional mixing rig with complete portability. The Alpha Rig comes with Lectrosonic 400 transmitters and receivers, wireless boom, Comteks and Lectrosonic IFB audio monitoring capabilities, Deneke smartslate and lockit box and a Sound Devices 633 10- track timecode recorder. With a portable BDS battery system that allows for a full day of sound on the go, this is the highest standard of bag rig on the market.
Bravo Rig
A smaller more affordable option than the Alpha Rig, the Bravo Rig still delivers stellar audio while being completely portable. The Bravo Rig comes with Lectrosonic LMA transmitters and UCR100 receivers, wireless boom, Seacrane and Lectrosonic IFB audio monitoring capabilities, Zoom F8 10-track timecode recorder, and an optional smartslate and lockit box. With a portable BDS battery system that also allows for a full day of sound on the go, this is one of the finest bag rigs on the market.
